Type any public Instagram handle. The newest we have spotted come first, new names are marked on your second look, and you can watch their live stories without logging in to anything.
How it works
Instagram won't tell you when someone followed. SpyFollr remembers what the list looked like last time — so the difference is obvious.
Type a handle
Any public account. No login, no install, nothing sent to them.

Instagram’s own order stopped meaning anything in September 2026, so SpyFollr makes its own: it watches an account over time and puts whoever it has just spotted at the top, dated the day it first saw them.
Look again later
Every look adds to what we know of their lists. Anyone we have not seen before is marked as new, dated the day we first saw them.
The app
Add any account to a watchlist and your phone buzzes when their list moves — who, and the day we noticed. Same rules: no login, nothing sent to them.

Plain guides to reading public Instagram accounts: what Instagram shows, what changed lately, and what no tool can do.
Questions
No. Nothing is sent to them, and there is no view receipt on a follower or following list the way there is on a story.
No — neither to Instagram nor to anything here. Only public accounts can be read.
Instagram publishes no follow dates. The order of the list is the only signal there is, which is why a second look is what turns it into a date.
It cannot be read, and the lookup stops as soon as the profile says private.
* We do not notify the person you look up, and you never sign in to Instagram. SpyFollr reads only public data, through a data provider, and your name never appears in their viewer list.
