Picuki vs Imginn vs Dumpor: Which Still Works?

Picuki vs Imginn vs Dumpor, checked on one day: which loads, which moved, which became a TikTok viewer, what each shows, and what to use when none works.

Three website cards side by side, one cracked and grey, one dim, one bright with a check mark

Picuki vs Imginn is a comparison people still search, often with Dumpor as the third name, because for years these were the three free Instagram viewers everyone tried in turn. In late 2026 the honest answer is short: one of them no longer shows Instagram at all, one moved to a new address and absorbed two others, and one is online but unreliable. We opened all three on 30 October 2026 and wrote down what we found.

"Not listed" means the site's own page did not mention it on our check date.

Picuki: no longer an Instagram viewer

Picuki was the biggest of the three. Google Trends puts its five-year peak in July 2022; it has lost most of that interest since, apart from a short spike in April 2026. On our check, both picuki.com and www.picuki.com answered with a permanent redirect (HTTP 301) to tikvib.com, a viewer for TikTok. There was nothing left for Instagram.

If Picuki was your viewer, the question is not whether it will come back but what to use instead. Our Picuki alternatives guide matches each Picuki habit to a tool.

Imginn: online, but often empty

Imginn was up on our check and still describes itself as an anonymous Instagram story viewer and downloader, with reels and stories, HD downloads and username search. Its own page says private accounts cannot be viewed and that heavy downloading may trigger temporary limits.

The catch is reliability. "Imginn not working", "imginn not loading stories" and "imginn stopped working" are all common Google suggestions, and its search interest swings hard: a five-year high in April 2026, then a fall within weeks. When a viewer is that busy and that dependent on Instagram's public pages, empty results are part of the deal. See Imginn alternatives for quick fixes and backups.

Dumpor: moved, and now the home of Greatfon and Smihub

Dumpor is the surprise. Its search interest is near zero since the summer, which looks like a closure, but the site moved: dumpor.com redirects to dumpor.io, and greatfon.com and smihub.com redirect there too. On our check dumpor.io listed a profile viewer, story viewer and downloader, reels, highlights and tagged viewers, a followers and following viewer, a Telegram bot and a TikTok viewer, all free and for public profiles only, with "No login required for any tool". If Dumpor fails too, the Picuki alternatives guide lists the other viewers that were working on our check.

Which one should you use?

  • To scroll a public profile's posts and reels: Dumpor, at dumpor.io. Imginn when it loads.
  • To watch public stories: Dumpor or Imginn, or a stories-first viewer such as StoriesIG, AnonyIG or Mollygram.
  • To see who a public account follows: Dumpor shows the list once. If you want to know who is new on that list over time, a viewer cannot help, because it forgets what it showed you last time.

When you want more than a one-off look: SpyFollr

SpyFollr is not a fourth viewer in the same mould. It has no post grid and no post downloads. It is built for the people side of a public profile, and for coming back to it:

  • Look up a public username in the SpyFollr iPhone app or web app and see who the account follows and who follows it. There is no Instagram login, SpyFollr never asks for your password, and the account is not notified.
  • New names are marked. SpyFollr keeps a record of everyone it has seen on each list, so on your next look it can point out who is new, dated the day it first saw them. The real follow time is not public, and since 9 September 2026 the order of a follow list says nothing about time (what changed).
  • Alerts. Pro re-checks the accounts you choose every few hours and sends a push alert when something new appears (recent follow tracker).
  • Public stories. The app and the web app play active stories of public accounts; your account never appears in their viewer list.

Private accounts show only their public header, here and everywhere. There are a few free checks a day; pricing has the rest.

Why all three ran into trouble

The three sites share a model: read Instagram's public pages on their own servers, show them to anyone, pay for it with ads. That model breaks in three ways.

  1. Instagram changes how public pages load. Each change can empty a viewer until it is rebuilt.
  2. Traffic is expensive. Millions of free profile views cost real money in servers and bandwidth.
  3. Domains get blocked. Networks, browsers and app stores block viewer domains, and moving to a new one resets the brand.

Picuki answered by switching to TikTok, Dumpor by consolidating three brands under one new domain, and Imginn by carrying on with limits. None of this is unusual, which is why it pays to keep two options bookmarked.

Safety checklist for any viewer

  • Never enter your Instagram password. A viewer reads public pages and has no reason to sign in as you.
  • Ignore any promise to show private accounts. Instagram's help page on public and private accounts says private posts and lists are for approved followers only.
  • Skip surveys, "verification" steps and app installs that claim to unlock a profile.
  • Watch for look-alike domains after a site moves; type the address yourself.

Looking at a public profile is ordinary. If someone has made it clear they do not want attention, leave it there. Anyone looked up on SpyFollr can ask not to be listed (section 10 of our privacy policy).

FAQ

Is Picuki better than Imginn?

Not any more, for Instagram: on 30 October 2026, Picuki's address redirected to a TikTok viewer, while Imginn was still online as an Instagram story viewer.

Which is better, Imginn or Dumpor?

Dumpor lists more tools, including a followers and following viewer and highlights, and it absorbed Greatfon and Smihub. Imginn focuses on stories and downloads. Both are free and public-only; keep both bookmarked, since either can fail on a given day.

Do Picuki, Imginn or Dumpor work for private accounts?

No. None of them can show a private account's posts, stories or lists.

Does the person know if I use these viewers?

These viewers do not sign in to Instagram as you, so your account is not in a story's viewer list, and Instagram does not notify anyone that their profile was opened.

What is the best alternative to all three?

For browsing posts and stories, a general viewer such as Mollygram or StoriesIG. For who someone follows and who is new, with alerts, SpyFollr.
