Dumpor Alternatives, and Where Greatfon Went
Dumpor moved to dumpor.io, and Greatfon and Smihub now redirect there. What Dumpor does today, Dumpor alternatives that still work, and what none can do.

Dumpor alternatives are a common search, partly because Dumpor seems to have disappeared. It has not: it moved. On 2 November 2026, dumpor.com answered with a permanent redirect to dumpor.io, and so did the old addresses of two other free viewers, Greatfon and Smihub. If your bookmark points to the old domain, you may be landing somewhere you do not recognize. This guide explains where Dumpor went, what it still does, and which alternatives to keep in case it stops working.

Where Dumpor, Greatfon and Smihub went
Here is what each old address did when we opened it:

So three brands now lead to one site, and Dumpor's page lists Greatfon and Smihub under its news section. We did not find a statement explaining the merger. In practice it means that if one of those used to be your viewer, its replacement is Dumpor, and if Dumpor fails, you need something outside that family.
Search interest shows why people are confused. On Google Trends, checked in late October 2026, "dumpor" spiked in April 2026 and has been near zero since the summer, and "greatfon" and "smihub" are close to zero too. People are no longer searching the names, even though the site behind them is online.
What Dumpor does today
According to its home page on our check date, dumpor.io offers:
- an Instagram profile viewer, story viewer and story downloader;
- reels, highlights and tagged viewers;
- a followers and following viewer;
- a Telegram bot and a separate TikTok viewer.
It says "Public profiles only", "No login required", "Free forever", and calls itself "$0 forever, not a trial, genuinely free". For most people who used Greatfon or Smihub, that means the same kind of tool under a new name: type a public username, read the profile, watch the stories. Like every free viewer it is paid for by ads and depends on reading Instagram's public pages, so it can slow down or break when Instagram changes something.
Dumpor alternatives (checked 2 November 2026)
All of these work with public accounts only and none of them needs your Instagram login.
StoriesIG
StoriesIG covers stories, highlights, reels, posts and profile pictures. Its FAQ says it "can only access content from public Instagram accounts" and that it is free with no registration.
AnonyIG
AnonyIG is a free story viewer that also covers highlights, reels and posts, with "No paywall, no premium plan, no card required". It says the service only works on public accounts.
Mollygram
Mollygram shows public stories, highlights, reels, photos and profile pictures by username or link, with no Instagram login.
Imginn
Imginn is still up as a free viewer and downloader for public accounts, but it warns that heavy downloading can trigger temporary limits and has a reputation for slow or empty results; see Imginn alternatives for why and what to try.
SpyFollr
SpyFollr overlaps with one part of Dumpor, the followers and following viewer, and does it differently. A viewer shows a list once. SpyFollr keeps a record.
- Look up any public username in the iPhone app or the web app. You see who the account follows and who follows it. There is no Instagram login, SpyFollr never asks for your password, and the account is not notified.
- See who is new. SpyFollr remembers the accounts it has already seen on each list. On your next look, newcomers are marked as new and dated the day SpyFollr first saw them. That is honest about what anyone outside Instagram can know: the real follow time is not public, and since 9 September 2026 the order of a follow list says nothing about time (what changed).
- Get alerts. Pro re-checks the accounts you choose every few hours and sends a push alert when new names appear (recent follow tracker).
- Watch public stories. The app and the web app play active stories of public accounts; your account never appears in their viewer list because you are not signed in to Instagram.
What it does not do: no post grid, no reels feed, no tagged photos, no likes or comments, no private accounts. If you used Dumpor to scroll posts, a general viewer above is the better swap.

"Not listed" means the site's own page did not mention it on our check date.
Staying safe with free viewers
When a popular viewer moves, copies appear with similar names. Before you use one:
- Never type your Instagram password into it. A viewer reads public pages and has no reason to sign in as you.
- Skip anything that wants a survey, an app install or "verification" to unlock a profile.
- Distrust "private profile" promises. Instagram's help page on public and private accounts is clear that private posts and lists are shown only to approved followers.
And be fair to the person on the other side: a public profile is fine to look at, but if someone makes it clear they do not want attention, take the hint. Anyone looked up on SpyFollr can ask not to be listed (section 10 of our privacy policy).
FAQ
Is Dumpor still working?
Yes, at a new address. On 2 November 2026, dumpor.com redirected to dumpor.io, which was online and listed its viewers as free and for public profiles only.
What happened to Greatfon?
greatfon.com now redirects to dumpor.io, and so does smihub.com. If Greatfon or Smihub was your viewer, Dumpor is where those addresses lead.
Is Dumpor safe to use?
It does not ask for an Instagram login, which removes the biggest risk. As with any ad-funded site, do not install anything it offers and never enter your password.
Can Dumpor show private accounts?
No. Its own page says it works only with public profiles and does not bypass privacy settings, and no honest tool can show private posts or lists.
What is the best Dumpor alternative?
For stories and posts: StoriesIG, Mollygram or AnonyIG. For who an account follows, with new names marked and alerts: SpyFollr.
